nature connection courses that grow wellbeing

from a truly magical countryside base in Sussex

spending time in nature is SO good for our emotional & physical wellbeing

Grow have been running nature-connection courses for 5 years, which have been evaluated by Brighton University to show they dramatically improve:

mood, self-worth, motivation, confidence, energy, zest for life

and can re-build a sense of trust, belonging & purpose

With Grow you will:

  • learn nature-connection resources that improve your wellbeing
  • have wonderful days out that re-inspire & re-invigorate you
  • discover community links to develop your skills & interests

we've been running The Season on Thursdays for 5 years, which:

  • is a low cost (£15 / £35 / £75) evidence-based nature-connection course that runs on 8 consecutive Thursdays, 10.30am - 5pm
  • is for people who'd benefit from inspiring times out in nature - eg those who've experienced depression, anxiety, stress & other mental health issues
  • offers you the chance to enjoy wide range of optional activities in a fun, supportive group led by experienced facilitators
  • there's flexibility for varying energy levels & physical abilities.  Each course is led by experienced facilitators & will include:
- National Trust led activities such as guided nature walks, conservation tasks, green woodworking, beach-combing, shepherding & more

- just enjoying magical countryside with picnics, tea & chat, soup by the fire, wild food foraging, creative sessions, ecotherapy & mindfulness exercises

  • minibus transport from central Brighton included
  • based at The National Trust's Saddlescombe Farm (20mins from Brighton) - their friendly Rangers lead some sessions, as does Roly the farmer
  • Grow is about growing people, not gardening!
