Happy News for a Happy New Year

Happy New Year (rather belatedly) to all our supporters and friends,  We hope that 2018 will be fruitful and abundant for you in every way possible!

We are delighted to announce that we have now been able to book in dates for the next couple of Seasons of Grow.  The next Season will start on 1st March and run through to 19th April and we are now taking registrations for this course so if you or anyone you know could benefit from some time out in nature with others in beautiful Sussex countryside then please get in touch at info@growingwellbeing.org.uk or follow the link on the What We Do page.

These 2 Seasons have been made possible by the amazing support we have received from the following:

Ernest Kleinwort Trust, Brighton & Hove City Council, Soul of the City Choir, local companies Brandwatch and CogApp, everyone who donated to our Grow Your Tenner campaign through LocalGiving and everyone who came along to our fundraising Winter Warmer Walk.

We are also very grateful to the wonderful people who donated prizes to our Winter Prize Draw including MyBrighton Hotel, British Airways i360, Camilla and Roly, National Trust, Dyke Golf Club, School of the Wild, Tristan Gooley, The Royal Oak pub in Poynings, The Outdoor Project, Panna Chocolate and Good Money Vouchers Scheme.  We couldn't have raised the money we did without you.

Register now for our winter warmer fundraising walk 30th December

If you'd like to come on the Grow Winter Warmer Fundraising walk and Open Day on 30th December we'd love to see you and there are still places left.

We'll be meeting at the National Trust Information Trailer at Devil's Dyke car park and there will be a choice of guided walks to Saddlescombe Farm led by National Trust volunteers setting off at 11am and 12.15pm.

For non-walkers there will be a minibus shuttle from Devils Dyke to Saddlescombe Farm at 11.30 and 12.30

At the farm we'll be serving homemade soup and bread baked in the outdoor clay oven.  There will be chances to try out green woodworking and whittling, skittles, some creative activities and the opportunity to learn all about Grow and what we do.

It's the perfect antidote to Christmas over-indulgence!! Come along, get outside, feel better and help raise money for Grow.

Registration can be done online here or at the National Trust Info trailer on the day.  Price is £10 (£5 concessions - over 60, under 16, on benefits, students or Grow members) and for groups of 4 booking together the £5 concession rate applies to everyone.

November Season postponed

Sadly we have had to postpone our next 8 week Season due to lack of funding.  We hope to be able to re-start our activities in the new year so do please check in with us regularly for more dates in 2018.

In the meantime we'll be concentrating our efforts on fundraising and we hope to have lots of exciting new ways that you can get involved with Grow and raise money for us at the same time.

In the meantime if you'd like to donate to Grow you can do so at https://localgiving.org/charity/the-grow-project/
