Happy New Year from Grow

We wish you all a happy, healthy and joyful New Year and new decade. We’re in usual winter hibernation mode at the moment, taking our lead from nature and slowing down a little to restore our energies but if your New Years resolutions include getting outside more and trying new things then we still have a couple of lovely things happening in this quiet time which you might be interested in:

Another heart-and hand-warming Fire-Making and Fire Choir workshop up at Stanmer Park on Saturday 25th Jan and 2 new Wellbeing Walks being led by Julia Gillick of IPSE Wilderness are planned for Sunday 23rd Feb and Saturday 28th March. For more details on these see our Natural Wellbeing days page www.growingwellbeing.org.uk/naturalwellbeingdays

We hope to see you out on the hills soon

Soul of the City Choir Support Grow

The wonderful Soul of the City Choir have adopted Grow as their charity for the year helping us to raise money by collecting for us at their end of term gigs.

Soul of the City is a fun, friendly community choir based in Brighton and Hassocks singing an uplifting mix of pop, soul and gospel music.  They understand that singing can be almost as good as nature for wellbeing and they're keen to support us in any way they can.

They're next performing at the lovely Old Market in Hove on Saturday 15th July in a double bill at 5.30pm and 8pm.  We'd love it if you could come along to the gig and support the choir (and in turn support Grow!)

Tickets priced £8.50 (£6.50 for concessions) are available online from https://www.wegottickets.com/event/406451
