We're delighted to announce that after a bit of an extended winter hibernation, we've now been able to confirm a new Season of Grow.

We'll be starting Season 19 on 13th April and running through every Thursday til 1st June so will enjoy having the full-on springtime experience!

If you, or anyone you know could benefit from being involved then please do contact us for an informal chat on 07557 501557.

Sussex countryside dramatically improves mental health

University of Brighton have evaluated our Grow programme to find that being in the countryside has huge benefits to people suffering with mental health issues.

We know from direct feedback that people experience increased confidence and improved self esteem on our programme,  but it's fantastic that the University of Brighton have been able to validate that.

One past Grow participant has said:

“I have absolutely loved the whole experience – it’s changed my life. I have been so anxious – I have struggled to go out for the past couple of years. I have looked out of the window and craved the peace and silence of nature – and just not had the energy, motivation or courage to leave the flat.”

Grow winter social - Tues 13th Dec

The next Grow Social for anyone who has attended a Grow Season will be on Tuesday 13th December – leaving Brighthelm Centre at 1pm and returning by 5pm.

We’ll be easing our way gently together into the festive season up at the barn at Saddlescombe Farm with a foraging walk to gather natural materials for some festive wreath-making.

We’ll also be warming some mulled apple juice on the woodburner and there may even be a mince pie or two!

If you’d like to join us please email info@growingwellbeing.org.uk to book your place.
